Where an employee provides cover for less than 120 hours per week the fire & rescue authority may set a lower annual retainer subject to it being no less than 75% of the annual retainer of an employee providing full cover.
Column 1 shows the full annual
retainer (10% of the W/T Annual Rate)
Column 2 shows the hourly rate for work undertaken
Column 3 shows the disturbance payment per call-out
Turnouts will
be the appropriate hourly rate plus the disturbance fee
Attendances will be 50% of the appropriate hourly rate plus
the disturbance fee
Redirection payments will be paid the same until further notice
Drill night fees will be paid at the appropriate hourly rate
During the interim arrangements the employee called out during a drill night
would receive:
Turnouts during drill nights - the amount payable will be;
- the amount of time on duty
during a drill night
- a disturbance fee
- a minimum of 1 hours pay from the time of the call-out.
This will continue post July 2004 until further notice
