It is with deep regret that we report the news of another firefighter whose life was taken whilst on duty.

Crew Manager, Paul Fletcher joined the service in April 2004 died in the early hours of Monday 24 August 2009 shortly after attending a fire call to the Camp Hill site of HM Prison Isle of Wight.

Mr Fletcher, 39, of Newchurch leaves a wife Lisa and two children aged 4 and 7.
